It’s Secretly Timid Tuesday! To celebrate…how about another double-sized episode? Jon, Jill and Diane open up the episode by talking about vomit and birth control. News stories include last week’s ice-pocalypse and how it affected the Super Bowl, the shaky half-time show, trentasized wine, supermodel Gisele’s foot-in-mouth disease, and animal lover Michael Vick’s new set of keys. Jill also debuts an exciting new segment called “Celebrity Twitter Face-Off.” Jill pits Full House’s Candace Cameron Bure against The Office’s Mindy Kaling.
Today’s featured song is “The Words that Maketh Murder” by PJ Harvey
And as promised, below is the video of radio show host Richard  Hunter confronting Michael Vick.

It is Secretly Timid Tuesday and Dallas is frozen. Rather than call in the snow day the cast decided to record via this program called “Skype.” Topics include…um…well…EGYPT, Chik-Fil-A, the Rush Limbaugh/Sen. Leland Yee, Artist Jeff Koons latest performance piece, and Helena Bonham Carter’s fashion. Other topics include Washington University’s decision to cancel Bristol Palin’s speech, Super Bowl craziness, a possible oral sex/cancer link, and this U.S. Map of shame. It’s a snow day! So enjoy this special 2 hour episode. Devyn pops in. Little Andie says ‘hi.’ And Jon got drunk. Don’t judge.
Today’s featured song is “Dirtied Your Knees” by Thrift Store Cowboys

A very special “Happy Birthday” to our number one fan, Devyn. We here at Secretly Timid hope you have a wonderful day. You are 21…so you must drink to excess and wake up in a strange place in a puddle of mystery fluid. Think of it as one of those “rights of passages.”

Hey Guys and Dolls,
Our friends over at Vagrant Records just sent us some tunes from Alexander Ebert. We like what we hear. In fact, Jon liked it so much that he did two cartwheels and attempted the chinese splits. It didn’t end well. Here are two tracks from Ebert’s debut album. Expect a full review in the next couple of weeks.

Although Paul could not get into the box today, we are still the Fantastic 4. Let’s just say that for today’s episode he is playing the part of the “Invisible Woman”. I suppose that would make Danielle “She-Hulk.” Regardless, let us all mourn our fallen hero, The Human Torch. We will miss you, you flaming hero. On today’s show, Jon, Jill, and Diane talk about Cold Stone Creamery jumping on the frozen yogurt bandwagon, a duo in Austin who were arrested for DWI…on a horse, the autism debate, and whether or not promiscuity may be genetic. Later Jon reviews the album, Early in the Morning, by James Vincent McMorrow.
The featured song for today’s episode is “If I Had a Boat” by James Vincent McMorrow
